Scott Klar

I am a 3rd Generation Matawan resident. I have associate degrees in Music, Media Studies and Business Management. When I am not working, I can be found either reading books, going to concerts, football or hockey games. I strongly believe in building meaningful relationships with our insureds so I can better service their unique needs. I am a Notary Public and currently licensed to help with Car Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Business Insurance, and Life insurance in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

I started my career with State Farm in 2016 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I have been with Scott Klar's Agency since 2017. I am the office's Service Manager, licensed in NJ and NY, and I'm ready, willing and able to help with all your policy servicing needs. When not at work I enjoy raising, homeschooling, and playing dinosaurs with my sons, Oliver and Robert and my cat, Mr. Pickles. I am also our self-proclaimed office plant mama as I am the only one with a green thumb.

I am the first person you see when you walk into our lovely office. I'm a big believer of your success is found in your routine. Being able to help others makes me proud. I am proud to be a bilingual Spanish licensed agent and I love my job. In my free time I like to go to car shows and just enjoy life. What is most important to me is spending time with my family. I’ve lived in Monmouth County over 20 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in business and I’m bi-lingual in Italian. When I’m not at work, I like to travel overseas, spend time with family and enjoy biking. I believe in going the extra mile when helping people.

I hail from the suburbs of Philadelphia, specifically a small town called Hatboro in Pennsylvania. My roots are important to me, and I always remember where I come from. Being a huge sports fan, I avidly support all the Philadelphia sports teams. For a decade, I pursued my passion for sports broadcasting, believing it would become my lifelong career. I had the opportunity to broadcast CB West High School Football on the radio and even hosted my own weekly show. CB West was consistently one of the top teams in the state during that time. Starting my professional journey in the 90s, I worked with SF under the mentorship of my late mother-in-law, who was a highly respected agent in Pennsylvania. In my personal life, I prioritize positivity and choose to surround myself with optimistic influences.
